Interesting to read all the Must Haves, especially since I started my 993 Journey a coupla years ago, albeit with a blurred vision of what I wanted my 993 to be.. But.. Here is my opinion based on my experience..

1. Suspension refresh
2. Cat Bypass
3. New Disks & Pads all round
4. Poly Bush
5. Recaros & a MOMO*

* Okay okay, that's 2 I know..

New to 993s and this forum. This has been a great thread, just read through every page. Suspension refresh seems to be priority for most people and looks like it will be for me as well. Plan for now is ROW suspension.

Hello Chuck W, I am responding to one of your " must have" comments, ( exhaust )
Speaking with Fab Speed and a performance Porsche ( 993 ) mechanic,
The Mechanic is suggesting the " Super Cup Exhaust System... "
However, The Fab Speed specialist is suggesting the " Modular Sport Catalytic Converter X-Pipe and Muffler By-Pass Pipes "
or, if I can't afford that package now, just the " Muffler Bi-Pass Pipes " now and can add on later.

Have you heard both ?
Any thoughts. ?

Thanks

I want to add a two (2) amp trickle/maintenance charger and a Durametric Pro or Enthusiastic OBD scanner based on your needs.

Let's also add the following:
1ea Spare Fresh Air Servo Motor;
1ea Spare Footwell Servo Motor;
1ea Spare Mixing Valve Servo Motor

And to please pp000830, rebuild kits, instead of spare Servo Motors including pp000830's patented toothpicks.and a kitchen table suitable for rebuilding PARTisan's kits...LOL

I’m worried about using a ‘trickle charger’ on a common ‘flooded lead acid’ battery.

It’s probably more prudent to pair this kind of battery with what’s typically referred to as a ‘flood charger’. Thoughts?”

Well I think I will add some of our Cutting Edge stuff to the mix.... Antigravity Lightweight Battery..... and our new Bluetooth Battery Tracker Device...

Lightweight Antigravity Lithium Battery https://shop.antigravitybatteries.co...tive/ag-h6-rs/
1-Drops about 30lbs instantly depending on size of your current battery
2-Offers Built-in WIRE-LESS Jump Starting so you will never come back to dead battery and have to jump start or call for assistance, nor will you ever be locked out of the frunk. Simple press the provided Keyfob and wake the battery up and drive away, or open the frunk...
3-Direct drop-in OEM fitment of battery. No making special mount or anything.

New Battery Tracker Bluetooth Battery Monitor. https://shop.antigravitybatteries.co...acker-lithium/

1- Bluetooth Battery Monitoring Device with App that send real time voltage and 31 days of historical voltage to your Phone or Tablet
2- Tracks current voltage as well has 31 days of 24hours of voltage which shows how fast you battery is discharging of a period of time, what you charging system is putting out during driving or idling, shows when car is started and driven, or stopped and not being driven
3-Send alerts to your phone if you battery voltage is low and should be charged.
4-No need to turn on car to check voltage, no need for a Multi-Meter to check battery voltage... displays on your phone if you are within 30ft of vehicles and transfers all data anytime you are within 30ft of car.

My mechanic advised against those perforated pedals and suggested the rubber nubs only. Rubber is the only way to go when getting the Rennline Pedals. I have had zero issues after 1 year from installing.
