I mean no disrespect to him or anyone else and am sorry you feel that way.

Remove the comedian/actor from the equation and the bottom line is
“He is just another guy like you (you are a guy? Right?) and I that has a love for the Pcar” that’s all, nothing more.

I have yet to meet another Porsche owner that does not want to talk shop and show cars yet.

I’m a Dir of R&D for a large software firm (not as glamorous as a actor/comedian, but extremely proud of what I do) and have the beginnings of a great Pcar collection and I do not get offended when people ask questions or want to see the cars, why would he?

So does this mean your stepping off hawk993?

I'm bummed that I won't see Jerry when he performs in Baltimore. I'll be at the Sebring Club Race that weekend. I've seen him twice and he's very good with his stand up. Since I don't know much about him, I'm more of a fan of his and Larry David's type of humor (big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm). I would love to read an article about his cars and what made him buy certain models. I know Jay Leno is a regular on the car magazine circuit and even car tv shows. Very little out there on Jerry, but I imagine he wants to keep it that way. Now back to the meaningless trivia

It’s interesting, for the last 18 years I have only watched the History, NASA/JPL, Discovery and assorted other documentary cable channels, Hollywood produced nothing I felt worthy of dedicating 30 min to watch!

Then one Sunday night, years ago, I surfed across the opening monolog to the “Seinfeld” show and remember I saw Jerry’s standup act on the comedy tour and though it was funny, so decided to watch.

The “Seinfeld” show and my beloved cable channels mentioned previously are the only things I watch on TV now.

Back to the schedule; guess it’s between Arena993, Manny and myself.

For the bonus, Jerry made him switch the menu to Pakistani which drove him out of business.

All of us being car guys this should be a fairly easy one. Before the SAAB what kind of car did Jerry drive? Make, Model and color. And a follow-up why did he get rid of it? Sorry for the easy question it is still early here. I look forward to this thread each morning.

Was it a BMW, silver I think (I'm color blind, so it may have been blue), and I think it was a 5 series, I'll say 525i. He got rid of it by leaving it in a bad neighborhood, announcing to a thug that the key was in the car, since no car dealer would take it in trade because of the body odor or BBO "Beyond Body Odor".

I've been having a blast with this thread and am not holding my hopes up for Jerry to contact us and invite a bunch of us into his garage. THat being said, if he does send out an invitation, I wanna go, I wanna go I wanna go!!!!
