Had a strange experience in my car last night, and want to see if you guys have any ideas.

I was sitting at a red light & heard a sound like someone racing through a huge puddle of water, funny thing is it sounded like it came from the engine compartment. About 5 minutes after that, the performance of my windshield defroster increased 10 fold. Now when I press the defrost button, the air flow is very strong & you can really hear & feel a difference in the amount of air being blown on the windshield.

Did something break, clear itself, coinsidence?

Everything else seems to be working normal.

Thoughts?

I think a powerful defroster function is the normal behaviour. When I turn mine on it seems to operate quite eratically. I look forward to hear what others say.

When I turn mine on, there's a short pause (2-4 secs) before it goes full blast. I think it's just the time it takes for the valves to open/close before the fan kicks in.
