Some of the 993tt guys are running 245/40x18 on 9s, some have even gone to 255.

You will want 9" rims and probably a little more positive o/s to do this w/o modifying the fender lips.

You will want et 40 or 45 on the rear of a C2S.

I've used 9ET50 and 8.5 ET53 both work the 8.5 is a very comfortable fit

in back you'll want spacers, ~7-10mm depending on how aggressive you want the fit to be

I know this is an old thread, but I found a set of nice wheels that were fitted to a 964 that I would like to mount on a 993.

The "proposed" rear wheel is a 18x10 ET 60

The MY02 wheel "standard" rear is a 18x10 ET 65

Based on the offset calculator, the outside lip of the "proposed" rear will be 5mm wider than the "standard" rear. Rubber will on the "proposed" rear is 265 35. Will this fit in the 993 NB wheel well without having to roll the fender?

Ride height will be between RS - ROW.

I'm running 18x10 ET 60 with 265 RE71r tires and have no rubbing. I should have room to go to 275 on my next set of tires. So yes, this should work for your NB car.

In front I'm running 18x8.5 ET 50 with 235 and also no rubbing. Its a nice balanced setup.

TlaLoc75...would you help specify your tires size setup and confirm whether you have a lowered suspension as well?

I'm contemplating the following on NB 993 Cab:

Front: 225/40-18 on a 18x8 et52 or 18x8.5 et40
Rear: 285/30-18 on a 18x10 et65 or 18x10.5 et60

But i'd like to go 235's in the front with your recommended setup but not sure about the rear as compared to the ones I researched above.

My tires are 235/40 and 265/35 both 18" of course. I'm lowered to approximately row sport -10mm which is also about rs +10. I'm lower than stock but not slammed.

235 is an easy fit in front and I believe 275 will be fine in back. Can't speak to 285, I don't plan to go that wide as I want to keep from adding too much understeer.

Keep in mind that tread width on my re71r tires is less than many other tires of the same size. If you go to tire rack you can compare the specs and see for yourself.

Just reading up on fitment for some new rims and tires that I was hoping to fit. Can you please tell me if you had to roll your fenders to get the 265's to fit with the row sport -10mm? Hoping to make the 275 work that are available to me on Carrera III's without too much trouble. What suspension did you use to achieve the ride height?

I did not have to roll fenders. Running PSS10 with about -1.5 degrees camber.

Are you happy with the ride overall? So many different opinions on the Bilstein's. Im hoping to find someone on one of the gathering days that will let me compare what the ride is like. So many options out there is hard to pull the trigger on one. Thanks for the input

I love them! I’m running at 6 and 7 out of 10 and they are pretty firm but still better than my old setup with m030 springs and bilstein hd shocks. When adjusted down, to lower damping settings, they smooth out nicely, but the car becomes less responsive of course. Trade offs...

What sizes and offsets on your new BBS?

If 8 & 10's, the OEM tire size is 225/265; but 235/275, 285 tire will fit the wheels. Tire mfg's aspect ratio tend to vary...
