Carrera IIIs on a MY95 993 narrow body
Responding to a 5-year-old post, but how can I mount these on a MY95 993 narrow body?
So many amazing wheel/car combinations!
I haven't seen my exact combo posted, so here it is...Carrera III's on a Polar Silver coupe...looks like they were made for it.
Those big gaps between the spokes give you a great big window to the beautiful drilled discs and calipers (and also make it easier to get in there for the inevitable clean-up)
Can't help myself (still on honeymoon from my recent "restoration")...here's an interior pic, too...

> 18x8 Front and 18x10 Rear
> No spacers. You can run them on the fronts if you want, but it looks fine without them.
> Rear tires - 265/35
> Front tires - 225/40

Carrera III wheels on MY95 993 narrow body
Hi The 8 x 18 front Carrera III is a 57-mm offset, 5-mm higher than the standard 8 x 18 for MY95 993 18s. The 10 x 18 rear is 58-mm offset, 7-mm lower than standard 10 x 18 MY95 993 18s. With the tire sizes you mentioned--225/40-18 front with 8 x 18 fronts and 265/35-18 with 10 x 18 rears--I'm assuming no rubbing occurs at a lowered (Euro) ride heights? I will be ordering the Carrera III OEM wheels from Finish Line OEM wheels. http://www.finishlinewheels.com/PORS...08/A-67321U20/ http://www.finishlinewheels.com/PORS...08/A-67322U20/
With tires mounted, the fronts will be ~0.19-inches further inboard, and the rears will be ~0.29 inches further outboard relative to the standard offset MY95 993 18-inch fitments. I'm guessing these aren't visually perceptible differences, but clearance-wise I'm hoping for no rubbing with the bodywork or with the coilover shocks. Thanks.

They would probably work on a NB. Just don't think they work on the turbo with the big tail and WB skirting/rockers!
