Yes Steve, I made it to Florida in the new house and finally got an internet connection. If has been an awful few weeks, and I am WAY behind in everything. I see a post on Rufus and I will need to see where this stands. Hopefully it is in good shape.

Bob-

Are you setting up a shop in Florida or some type of "new" employment?

Doc,

It seems silly to worry about whether or not I should do other mods for my car when you have THAT. Brings it all into perspective about the slope, I feel so much better now. It's all relative I guess, nice truck.

thanks for the positive comments about my transporter. it has been fun using it to show 993's and host some of my friends "classic" cars as well.

when i take it out i bring my camera but i am so busy setting it up and showing it to people that i never get to take any photos. i will make an outing just to do that.

the truck weighs 32K lbs empty and drives great. gets 11.9 mpg and holds 170 gallons fuel. has tv, dvd, cd ,refer, micro, tiolet, sink, bbq, 20 kw generator, air comp, work bench, vice, sleeping area, eating area, and other nice features.

a fellow rennlister dave mc cart hooked me up w/it along w/my black turbo earlier

below are some of its recent occupants

Uh, my mouth is wide open right now, and if a fly came along, I'm afraid it would travel far down my throat as I wouldn't notice it whilst I stare in awe at the computer screen pics of your cars and that car hauler!

If my wife came into my office right now she'd say, as usual, "close your mouth!".

Very cool hauling device!!! Can't wait to see the interior pics. It'll be like a holiday when they show up. I'll plan on taking off from work that day so I can gaze, galk, and stare to my heart's content.

Congrats,
Steve R

Steve R,

Hilarious post....only because I can relate bigtime.....just classic!

Doc....holy smokes again! Your garage is quite nice as well. I want to buy a rig like yours just to live in and travel to all the great roads of America. Just incredible. Can you imagine driving around in that thing with a TT and a NA to pop out when the "urge" takes hold?

Thanks again for the tip on the wheels....I can't wait...photos will follow.

Your car has got to be one of the nicest CARS I have ever seen!

Any advice on detailing once the wheels are off?
