My friend Saul has done many extensive systems on 993's. He has worked in the industy for many years and last worked for Paris Audio in town as their lead installer. He stopped installing and works on computer databases, but he can occassionally be talked into doing work for friends and enthusiasts. He has a 996 of his own. He really does do unreal work, and if you email me I can forward your info to him. Also, my car's install can be viewed if you guys desire to see his work. His goal is always to keep the car fully reversable to stock. If you can convince him, use him.

Just like Michael...
I have a pal in Orange County. He too is another electronic genius as well as a factory trained mechanic for Porsche. He could maybe be talked into an installation or two. His work is flawless. He has done a number of things on my car, installed a suspension, rebuilt my LSD, remote oil fan switch....send me a PM if you want are interested. I will hook you up.

I had my stereo installed at European Car Stereo on Artesia in Redondo Beach. I didn't have them do anything fancy but they did a clean install at a fair price ($35 IIRC). They are pretty close to MB so it might be worth checking out. No affiliation etc...

Try Sounds Good Steroe in Woodland Hills. Rated #1 installer, and in my experience, they are excellent. When i was last in there they had some very cool machines, and the guy that runs the place is well known for custom stuff. No affiliation

Yes it is a piece of Black plexi that I intend onm having engraved with the Porsche Logo or something., But it doenst really look to out of place because the installer incorporated some of the black plexi into the consol design.
The display is toughscreen and has GPS and Hard disk mp3 player. It sounds great.
