Two rear decklids, one is 993 ductail, anyone interested?
Hello,
I saw someone asked about buying a decklid but then realized it was pretty old request so I decided to post here.
I have two rear decklids for 993 laying around. One is G. Red. with third brake light, comes with rear spoiler but no grill. Spoiler has tiny "chip" for me removing the grille but otherwise the decklid is totally flawless.
Another is primer painted (black) custom made 993 ducktail bunch of us ordered couple of years ago, I never installed and it's been just collecting dust ever since, comes with all the hardware, grille & gasget so no need to use your stock stuff.
These are just collecting dust at the moment and I'm not really selling them, thus they are not in classifieds or eBay but I though maybe someone here would be interested.

Here are few photos,
First two shows it installed (another Rennlister's car, I've asked permission to use it couple of years ago, I hope I can still use it) and one actual photo of my dusty decklid (I told you it's collecting dust).

I'll make it easy, here are two photos I took when I removed it. Circled area shows where the "chip", only problem in the lid (it's actually on the plastic spoiler, not on the lid).

Sorry to hijack Finn's post, but I also have a ducktail I am not using. I was part of the original group buy for the duck tails with Finn. If anyone else wants one I have the same one avalble.

Burning Brakes
The black "RS look" 993 pictured in this thread with the ducktail is mine. For those of you who are considering a ducktail, go for it. It has brought me great luck, health, fame and wisdom. I recommend it. And for those of you that are going to ask: No there are no known ill-effects of cooling, stability or anything detrimental that I have experienced from having a ducktail on the car.
