If you dont mind the price... the best IMO is from TechArt. Smaller 340mm or 320mm, thicker in all the right places, excellent quality and craftmanship to Porsche standards and you can fully customize it with your prefered stiching.
Here is the 340mm version in my cabrio, full leather with Carbon top and red interior stiching:

HTML Code:
just keep at least 12 inches from your airbag and you "should" be safe
I think the makers of these vehicles came out later and said that one should be AT LEAST 18-24 inches from the middle of the steering wheel "to be safe". But, I am not sure.

BTAIM..... having a piece of whatever coming at me at 200 mph and I'm 12-24 inches from it.... well, I'm not sure that IS safe. Scary. I'd rather belt up, drive fast and avoid problems. Someone once said that "... accidents don't really happen much.... but, wrecks do". Hmmmmm......

Danny. Have you got any better shots of that SW. Maybe something straight on. I want something with deviated stiching. Whilt your at it, how about a shot of your GR showing the Speedlines? I think that is what I want to do to my car.
I like the RUF Jonathon. I would cover the RUF unless I had a RUF. It is an improvement over our stock SW. If you like, buy it. It is very nice. One 4 letter word of caution for your wallet and perhaps your marriage: MOVE!

Humm... you mean like this? BTW, the ride height is an aggravating and occasional expensive setting. I am good at bondo for the front splitters :-)

Exactly Jean-Pierre. She looks so sweet. I saw the only three (supposedly) RSs in the country this weekend at the Club Race at Road Atlanta. I was working the Grid and got an up close and personal viewing. Two were GR, one SY. Same SW, colored seat backs. Does your car have single lug wheels?

I do too.. was out last weekend and diced with a passing GT3 on some backroad. My turnin is faster than his... though more bondo required on the splitters. Function of ride height... my choice.

MrSullivan- I went back on forth on the AJUSA, RUF, FVD, Techart and Atiwe. In the end, I went with the AJUSA. I was told by the RUF guy the SW pictured is the same as the AJUSA (but twice the price!), however their new SW(buttons further up) are different -design and size.

Placed my order 5 weeks ago, still waiting for hubs to clear customs!

jon-
goto FVD and they carry several versions of the Atiwee wheels.
Im sure there is a new version that matches the Ruf. Im certain ruf gets the wheels from atiwee. AJUSA only sells the original version.

Danny, the steering wheel (and the rest of the car) looks very nice, but for God'sakes man, get yourself a vacuum cleaner.

Atiwe makes both wheels IIRC. If you can live w/o RUF on the center pad then AJ-USA is the way to go. They include the hub adapter if you need it (I needed it on my 964).

i dont care about RUF on the wheel (in fact prefer not to have it since i dont own a RUF), but not sure I would like just blank black on the airbag... i am worried that it would look funny like that... so there is the Porsche emblem option, but lots of talk about what that becomes in the case of airbag deployment (projectile)...
