$275 in the Group Buy + around $11 for S&H. I think they are $325 normally + $20 for S&H directly from Wessach.

I sniped one on eBay for about $110 and sold my stock one for $50. So $60 out of pocket for me.

Rick, you are the master at finding cheap parts, and selling your old ones to suppliment the cost! Way to go. I am often amazed at the deals you come up with.

Darin, I'm just too poor to pay normal 993 maint. and mod. prices and our local Porsche clique are a bunch of total cheapskates who DIY everything. Hear about my C2S split grille, which came NIB, painted polar silver for $180 delivered? Or my Big Reds (calipers, rotors, pads and lines) that I got for $1521 delivered and sold my stock brakes for $700? I've gotten even better trades on guitars and parts.

Rick, you are da man! Let me know if you ever see one of those modules again, I don't cruise ebay that often. I like the idea, but I can think of better ways to spend 3 bills. I would have no problem paying "around" a hund, but not three.

The spread in up/down speeds is very interesting. It suggests that perhaps the modification is not a change in a microcontroller's firmware, but perhaps some kind of resistor/capacitor substitution - which would suggest that there might be an easy mod to a stock spoiler module.

Anyone with the new module want to open it up, and compare it carefully to a stock module, noting any component differences?

Since my technical skills were already pressed to the limit just installing the thing I don't think opening it up would be a good idea for me.

Right on! It's just a matter of changing a few resistors. It could be a DIY project or
some electronics company could modify it for less than $100. By-the-way, it
doesn't use a u-p, just a few op amps & a couple of timers, very simple
(about $3.00 - $4.00 to manufacture in volume).

Is it too late to get added to the list on the group buy.....or perhaps I could replace someone who changed their mind. Let me know I'm interested at the group buy price,

I think it may be too late. I will contact Wessach and find out for you. I think you may need to get another group interested for them to do it. I will report my findings later today.

Loren,

Wait did I get that right? Are you saying we can adjust the spoiler module up and down sets for $4. plus DIY......?

Or equally good an electronics co. could mod it for a C-note...?

You've got my attention.

I've read past posts where modifying the module was not possible as it was not easy to modify the timing. If it is, I'm all ears, too. Loren??

I don't think it can be that difficult. I just bought one off ebay to work on so I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
