Sherman thanks for your tips. Cayucos is also on the coast, about 10 miles South of Cambria. You'r'e right that its a less commercial town and close enough to warrant a look a their accomodations. If anyone does stay there, take the Old River Road out of town inland to Hwy 46, to Paso Robles. One of my favorite roads....See you on the highway...

To jcnesq:

Got you note in the mail today along with the $1. bill. Totally unneccessary, but I appreciate the thought. I'll probably have to frame the note & currency; how often do you receive a dollar from an attorney!

Don C. My wife and I will be at the Cambria Pines Friday and Saturday night. It's a decent place but all they have left now are the larger suites (which are a bit pricey). Cambria's a nice quiet little town that's not more than 30 minutes from Eberle. Most of the wineries are between Paso Robles and Cambria (with plently of back roads between them).

Thanks for organizing at the winery. Great place, we have been there couple of times....

JR,

Thanks, too, for doing this for the group! Lots of work, no doubt...I appreciate it!!! I'll get that check out to you on Monday for two.

To Everyone: is there any one place that seems like it will be the hotel du jour for us all?
Alternatively, who's got the goods on where to stay that's inexpensive and close by?

Edward

I made a credit card deposit this afternoon of $ 550. to secure the reservation at Eberle Winery. Deposit was based on 40 participants @ $27.50 x 50%=$550. So far we have aproximately 35 paid reservations.

John - sending you the buck I shortchanged you was way cheaper than the glass of 30 year old cabernet you were trying to extract from me! (But I'll buy you one anyway to thank you for all your work on this!)

JRG,

After speaking to Air Kuul tonight over at Westend Alignment, I may be interested in joining you folks. That sounds like a great time, but I need to iron out some child care coverage (and doggie care, too).

I'll send you a PM, John.

Rich
