Anyone looking for a 993TT
I stopped by the local Porsche dealer, in Richmond Va. to order a few things and they have a nice looking BLK/BLK '97 993TT with 25,000 miles.....paint and interior were excellent, all panel and door lines were straight, new SO2s et.al. .....asking price in low 80s, which in my opinion is to high....it has been there a few months also

EB, since I follow the market closely, if its clean and you were to look at it and you like the PPI
I would think low 70's. Guys have been finding them in the 60's but they lucked into them or
its a 96 with lots of wear.

I did inquire about this car because it is not too far from me, and they dropped the price to 85k. Wow, from and ask of 86,9. Wow. Low 70s is on the high side of reasonable if the PPI is great. In the high 60s would be a very good deal. I believe it is stock, will need the usual suspension work, etc.
Given the ask, I doubt they will go down to a reasonable range, and it will end up on another dealer's lot at some point, or sit for a loooonnnnnnnng time.

The only TT I think will possible pull $ in the 80s are the extremely low milage and high optioned cars with the deviated seats, belts, gauges, calipers, etc. They are special and command extra $ because of their uniqueness. I would pay extra for those options. I like the look.

Keith,
If you trade your S for a Turbo, let me know, I'm robbing your spoiler wall I just installed mine, so it wouldn;t be a bad trade. I like the porsche logo that your's has

Value?
EB: The value to me would be in the low 70s if that....the market for 993TTs seems to skewed by collectors, first time Porsche buyers and folks with money to burn........there Porsches are nine and ten years old
Keith: this Porsche was bought at the HighLine auction and carfax shows six owners ( doubtful), but who knows
Another Porsche friend who was at recent auctions allowed that '96 and '97 993TTs were fetching high 60s to high 70s......interestingly, you can buy a low miles '01 or '02 996TT with warranty for less than what sellers are seeking for a 993TT
I have had some seat time in the 996 and 993 TTs.....would be hard to pass on a 996TT under warranty if the dollars were even or less
