Lovely stuff... wonder what a comp with the new Gallardo would show??

Think the Lambo is more reliable.

What about the SUV height??

Nice to see a review with a decent driver, albeit with a lousy choice in shirts Jason is a current British touring car driver.

Engine seems to have power everywhere!

Yes, he had a brief career in F1. Unfortuantely for him Mansell was his team mate and beat him senseless. Also quite a distingushed endurance / le mans driver + touring cars. He won a round of the Diablo challenge with another respected racer / journalist, Mark Hales a year or two back.

Shows the 430 faster and more engaging. Gallardo comps with the 360 showed the 360 slower and more engaging.

Why would you think that? The 360 has proven to have excellent reliability, almost certainly on a par with Porsche. I doubt Lambo is better than that.

Because Audi owns Lambo and that gives people the impression that Lambo makes more reliable cars than a company largely owned by the FIAT group. My experience with Ferrari has been excellent in terms of reliability. Certainly on par with Porsche if not slightly better.

A Ferrari as RELIABLE as a Porsche??? I guess that depends on the model, because in general, I just don't think so.

Actually yes when it comes to the 360. The V12 cars still had some issues I believe, they may have worked them out in later models. Older model Ferraris deserve their reputation, but looks like Ferrari/Fiat is starting to get their act together with the newer cars.

Nice car,I am obviosuly biased, but I think the 355 looks better and sounds better( with a Tubi) then this 430 or the 360. I also dislike the trend for more drivers aid gadgets and computers in Ferrari's these days. Then again I would pick an F40 over an Enzo every time.

If you haven't owned any, you just wouldn't know. My experience has been positive. However, I also know several people who own F-cars and they have shared similar reliability experiences along the years.

Folks in our local Ferrari club that own a recent Ferraris -360, 550 - have little to complain about in term of reliability - not the same can be said for the 996 (RMS)and even 997 owners . I think Porsche has been resting on its laurels and it getting squarely beaten by the companies that used to be the laughing stock of the auto industry - heck new Jaguars have less problems than the new Porsches..
