My recall that arrived yesterday has a detacheable card. "If you don't own this car any longer, please give us info on the currect owner" type of thing.

Barry, I'll probably be taking mine to Clair. They did the rust warranty and windshield in mine. Not great, I don't think they washed teh car either, but they were OK.
As far as oil change, email me, there might be a free oil change for you

Received my recall from Porsche last Saturday. Due to the info here, I had already scheduled my car for the 'inspection'. They looked at it and then ordered parts. The parts are supposed to be in sometime this week and I will get it fixed as soon as scheduling allows.
Where can I find info on the wiring harness recall?

Wiring harness recall only affected 95 and some early 96 builds (IIRC).
Here's a link that's still going. THe original webpage seems to die, but http://www.archive.org always seems to save the day:

Reimbursement form for Cab motor replacement

I would like to thank all of you for posting to this site. I received my recall notice for the top motors last week and I will have them replaced on 2/14/05. I also appreciate the info on the wiring harness recall and I will have that checked at the same time. Did I understand you correctly that the two small holes, one on either side by the corner of the glass, may be caused by these defective motors/ pins?? Will also update after recall. Thanks again to all of you and good luck with your recalls. I'm jealous that you guys are already out playing with your cars while I just shoveled more snow today!! Anyone going to paradee this year??

Just a last FYI on the topic - I had both cab op locking motors replaced today. Total time was about 1 hour and 45 minutes. My invoice says the part# was 000-043-300-44 DC Motor - Pwr Top and the parts were about $415 plus the labor - all warrantied - thank you Porsche.
