Many Thanks to everyone's input. Since this is an once a year thing, I better leave my C4S at home and not taking any chances. Still want to be a member here don't want to risk it just for a few days of fun.

As was mine, Greg. Snow tires are a must, but I wouldn't relish the idea of chains on a lowered 993 unless it was an emergency.

Interestingly, my "new" 1992 MB 500E has a snow chain button on the dash. Doubt that button will ever meet the end of my finger.
