Moving over from the 964 Board
Had to....I found a 1995 993 with 50,000 miles that has no oil leaks, looks like showroom finish, not even sand nicks on the mirrors and runs like a deer..(just as quiet too). It was a trade in at a dealer and was attracting a lot of attention. Luckily, I showed up first.
The car was obviously well cared for by the previous owner. It is literally spotless. That is until today when I committed the cardinal sin of driving it on wet, melting roads. But then, it's the first chance I've had to drive it since the demo as I've been out of state playing with Santa and the grandkids.
So now a new adventure begins after twenty years of viewing the road through 911 fenders. Now what to do with the C2?????

Cayenne AK is right; "quiet like a deer" sounds like a cry for Supercups or, at the very least, RSR's.
At 50,000 miles, your shocks are shot. HD Bilsteins would be a nice fix.
Welcome to the 993 board!

AAARRRGGGHH! Trying to transfer pix from Documents and can't remember paste routine.
I could describe it....red with shiny wheels, etc. Waxed it and it goes faster now too. I'll keep trying.

Good for you Fred! Sounds like a great low-mileage 993. Woohoo!
I had a 964 as well. I absolutely loved it. Never had a single problem with it. Well, except for all those tickets.
