Stock 993 steering wheel size?
 

Hello. I've started to look for a 993 and sat in one for the first time yesterday. If I purchase one I think I'm going to need to replace the steering wheel and/or the seat to get truely comfortable.

I searched the archives and read all I could on the AJ-USA and TechArt (340mm) replacement airbag wheels. What I could not find is the stock steering wheel size. Anybody know what it is? Is the AJ wheel the same size or smaller? The AJ website say 14 inches which converts to 356mm.

I think it is 380 mm (15").

the nice air bag wheel that AJ sells which has been used in RUF cars as well is approx 3/4" smaller diameter which is meaningful.

I'm tall and have been considering the wheel also, however I have a different driver's seat which lowers me in the cockpit....something you may need to consider.

I'm tall too, and have found that the 993 works for me if the seat is back and down as far as it can go. Also, I'm told that there is an extra hole on the seat mounting that actually allows you to make it sit back a bit further. You might consider that this is possible as well.
