Randy, Tony, Lon,

Everyone's meeting up at TRE about 8, right? So how about we meet about 730 at Starbucks? BTW, the weather looks like it may not cooperate for that morning. What are you guys planning to do it the skies dump in us?

Drive a bit slower. But as you know, it never rains in California.

Edward, Rand and Lon,

I think the rain/shower will be gone by Thursday or Friday. I really don't think we'll have a wet New Years Day. So if want to get to TRE by 8:00 AM lets leave the Starbuck on Decoro and McBean by 7:30 ish. I'll try to get there early a and get a cup of Mocha before leaving.

Hey everyone

Lets meet at 7:15 at the Starbucks, this will give us enough time to leave by 7:30. Lon I'll talk to your wife about the time to meet and where, before Sat. If the rain is not actually falling I will be going. See you guys Sat. morning.

Randy, Tony, Lon, and anyone else in our hood,

715 at Starbucks sounds good. But I'm with you guys on the rain issue. If it is raining or looks really likely, I think I'm gonna pass. And that would really stink since I so rarely get a hall pass for these fun runs. Lets hope for the best, fellas!

I don't want to throw a wet blanket on this run (pun intended) but even if the weather is clear, the canyon roads are a mess. The hills are saturated and there is lots of debris on the road from the run off. Just giving you a heads up that the weather is not the only issue.

I still plan to head over to the Starbucks at Cross Creek but will probably stay off the canyon roads.

I'm with Fred on this. All of the canyon hillsides seep water and debris for quite a few days after a storm like this. (And living right near by, I can say we are still thick in it.) I also plan to meet up with everyone at one of the gathering spots but as far as an actual "spirited" canyon driving run, I will most likely pass too. Not a lot of fun when you have to watch your tail around every other twist and major rocks and mud dominate.

Hey Everyone

I was watching the weather at work today and from the satellite it looks like this storm is slowly moving down the coast with the rain hitting Socal sometime tomorrow. I believe there is a possibility of showers through Sat. I think if it is raining Fri nite I will make the decision not to go on this run. Will post tomorrow and see what everyone is doing.

Rand and Edward,

It's suppose to rain tomorrow and clear up for Saturday. I guess we'll have to wait and see... if we don't make it Edward we can still meet up for coffee or something...

JRG,

If it's not raining on Saturday I still would like to meet you some where, I know that you're heading up the 5 to drop off your car to VB. Please let me know.
