OT:tool question
Hi and happy holidays!!!!!!!!
I am told by one of Santa's helpers that I am getting a really cool cordless impact wrench for christmas. I want one of those easy torque sockets that clicks and free wheels at 90 lbs. All you track dudes have them and now I want one. Where do you buy them?????????
BTW: I bought my wife an 01 Audi allroad today=nice rig!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve, I know of 'torque sticks' where they supposedly only torque a certain amount and then the shaft flexes, but have heard about a break-away socket after a certain torque value.
Impact guns are great for breaking loose lugs and running up lugs, just to a snug point or even half torque value. I always prefer to finish up torquing with a torque wrench.
