Does not seem like that good a deal to me....of course, I hate the tip. If I were buying for my wife, maybe.

Come to Los Angeles and experience the freeways here. If you use your 993 as a daily driver you would love the tiptronic. For a Sunday car or one not used to cummute in I agree that a 6 speed is the way to go. My wife does not like the tip and prefers the 6 speed Boxster. But she doesn't have to sit in traffic.
