Post Euro M030 installed

Pre- American stock suspension and stock bars
Post- Euro M030 shocks/springs and TT bars

Lowered, not slammed. More apparent in rear than front due to excess there before. Doesnt scrape on my inclined driveway.

Tight, stiff ride but not uncomfortable. Stiff enough that I cant manually depress either front or rear fenders easily. Alignment to euro spec with camber -1 front , -1.2 rear.
No cornering lean to speak of.
I like it.

If you desire lower and stiffer, go for H+R coilovers or PSS-9.
Either way, it aint cheap!

Pictures! I need pictures! this is the exact mod I'm planning on doing and I would love to see the results. Where did you purchase the parts? Did you use Bilstein HD shocks or OEM?

This isnt a daily driver. Just a weekend fling. I might not be pleased with the new stiffness if it were. It does jiggle more over rough roads (par for the course here)but feels very solid without any baby carriage movements in the least, unlike the stock suspension. But boy does it corner! The larger rear TT bar supposedly dials out some of that all-wheel drive understeer.
I source most parts from Gert at carnewal.com
Best service and prices and advice out there.
You cant go wrong price-wise with any suspension option from Gert. He had mine at my doorstep in 3 days. No affilation, a very satisfiied customer for the past 2 years.

Richard,

Can you tell us the ride height measured from the ground to top of fender? I have US M030 springs and my height is 27" front and 26 3/4" rear. I'm have been thinking about changing to ROW M030. I believe the factory specs. claim the drop will be 20mm.

Thanks

The ride height was set equally to lowest point in the front my tech felt comfortable with without approaching bump steer, about 5mm from bottom. The rears were set from there to give a 1 degree rake forward. The measurements to fender lip in inches are approx 25 7/8 front and 25 3/8 rear. By measuring to the floor the rears, side to side, are comparable to the fender lip but the fronts differ side to side by 6/8 inch. My tech tells me this is not an appropriate measure to the fender as heights of fenders may vary but they are evenly lowered to measurements from suspension geometry points.
The front still has more 'air' than the rears.
Hope this helps.
You may post my pics for me if you like. A visual may make things easier.

abalto, you will not be disappointed, I have had my Euro M030 complete with sway bars for a year now and would never go back. I have it on a C4 cab that is not a track car. I find the M030 more controlled, less jarring and a better ride all around than the stock suspension.
I did add Gerts front bar just in case.
The lowered look is just a bonus. I've included the link to my before and after photos.
Do it.

Check out my link. Car is Euro M030. Absolutely love it. Got the car with American height M030, and after a year, went with the euro springs - best move ever. Not only does it look asthetically much better (it's the height Porsche designed the car for), it rides beautifully.

I drive it daily and track as often as possible - perfect setup for me!

Richard,

Sounds great! Can you email me some before and after pics so I can see the change. Also, if you would like, I can post them on rennlist for all to see.

Thanks,

Skip

Youve got mail. Ive been driving around alot this weekend, cant imagine going back to the original suspension. Very connected feeling now similar to the previous 964 I had.

Here are the pics. The quality isn't the best as I had to copy them from MSWord.
