High rev driving
993 1994 C2cab....
How long can u drive in high revs ie. 6000 plus and never below 5000. Should u slow down say after 20 mins. What would be pushing the limit on the engine.
Cheers

If you are talking about the US, 6000 RPM in 6th gear is plenty fast, 140 mph+. I suspect you'll run out of road and or tires before you run out of engine! Also in the US, you'd be in jail before long. We don't have an autobahn/autostrada, etc.

Until you run out of gas. It will have plenty of time to rest while you refill the tank.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Until the cops spike your tires, extract you from the car and drag you off in handcuffs. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />

Man, I envy you folks in Europe!! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
Do you have the Motor Sound installed, Phil?
Your ears must ring for a while after a drive like that!

I've gone 2+ hours on the 405 without ever exceeding 1500 rpm.

Pookee,
No sound option. Used to have sport mufflers, but they are pretty strict in Switzerland and some of my neighbors did not enjoy it. I do have sport cats, though, which I feel does improve the sound a bit. Do not want the drilled air box, because I feel hot air from the engine will enter, defeating the purpose of the trumpet I installed on the airbox for cooling purposes.
