Good idea … heard from others that the stem is on the long-side and may not hold-up to hard hand-twisting (torquing)…
The one I printed is still intact. I may have a spare, printed in grey - color that you can have gratis (send me a PM)

Here is the one I printed… the one other negative is the ball-size may need a ‘wrap’ to make the phone holder fit more snugly —

I prefer the simplistic design of this one:

Hi Jascha,
Thanks for the gracious offer. At this point I purchased the expensive Rennline offering.

After mounting my phone on the clock side for the last couple years, I've come to the conclusion that your solution is far superior. That said, when I removed the clock it only required a simple twist and pull, is there any trick I should know of before trying to remove the fuel/oil gauge out of the dash compared to the clock?

Patience. Mine was really stuck in there. Tried a few different smooth plastic trim tools trying to work my way from opposite sides of the dial face. Tough as there isn't much clearance there.

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...uestion-2.html (post 23)

Proclip used to make a mount at the center vents, (it 'attaches' to the vent frame, not the vent louvers, so very secure) I use them in our cars with this magnetic mount that sticks to the proclip mount: and just put the thin metal 'sheet' between my phone and its' case.

(Scosche MPTFM MagicMount Pro XL Magnetic Car Phone Holder Mount)

It is not listed on Proclips site any more but might be able to call them to order???? I have a Rennline clock phone mount too but prefer the Proclip. Item on steering wheel is a 'JBL Click' to adjust phone BT volume easily.

Another ProClip user here, also use the ProClip (Brodix) phone mount. Very secure set-up.

This thread is too complicated. It's just a phone mounting option. Pick and move on. I love my selection. Done deal.

i also took the simplistic approach. I use the Lamicall vent mount phone holder which I purchased on Amazon for roughly $10. I actually have a couple of them and use them in the 993, as well as my Boxster and Audi. Works fine

I use Scoche short neck windshield mount with MagSafe charger. Works well and I don't have to look down for Map and Music streaming.
