Sport Seats: Upholstery/Fiberglass Separation
My sport seats keep separating between the leather upholstery and the fiberglass seat back. I have taken it to an upholster and the fix lasted several months. However, it has separated again.
I have carefully forced the hard rubber, toothed strip that keeps them together back into place, but that doesn't last long.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

FastMaz, it looks like you aren't going to get many straight answers with that avatar of yours!!
I remember tucking mine back in a few times in the past, but haven't had to lately. Maybe the heavy treatments of Color+ 'Soffener' i have applied lately has reversed some of the shrinkage of the leather that may have been occuring before?? just a theory...never even thought of it until you mentioned the problem.

Hah! Max said "shrinkage"
On a relatively more serious note, I had the same problem with my sports seats. The solution was a snap-on tool with an end that looks like a pronged bent flat screwdriver. I believe it's called a trim remover or something. The flat pronged end pushes in two of the tabs simultaneously into the hard back. Did this last fall and have yet to have them come apart again (the upholstery, I mean).
