color coding?
I am curious, I noticed some dashes of paint on the nuts fixing the front suspension struts (visible inside boot). The main nut has some red paint, the other 4 smaller nuts have both yellow and red paint dashes on them. Is there any reason, does it means that the struts are the original ones? (I am not the 1st owner!). Similarly the screws holding the clips of the fuel pipes are also marked...?

Are you talking about the paint on the bolts like the picture below?
Not exactly sure the purpose of the paint, but I would think is some way to tell if a certain part is ever removed? Or something the factory do as quality control to make sure all the critical bolts are tighten before it leaves the factory?
