I'm installing RS America door panels and Focal Access 165CA speakers (3 beers later). It appears that the Focal speakers won't fit into the cutouts in the door. I'd say they're a good 1/2" too wide all around. I thought I'd read elsewhere on the board that others installed them with no problems? Any ideas?

Hmmmm..... after a little thought, maybe I should rephrase this question a little.

Should the speakers be mounted directly to the steel door. Then the door panel goes on, then the trim ring and grill go on over the door panel?

Or, do you mount the speakers to the RS door panel directly?

Jeez.... if I can just survive this one DIY without messing up my panels
