Does anyone remember these? They found a good home.

I got these in 2009 or 2010 from someone who at the time posted Rennlist forums , I believe he may have also had a 993,I’m not sure.

They are made of machined aluminum and fit perfectly, and I’ve had them on my gauges since I purchased them, but I recently went through a phase of restoring many things to stock.

I have no memory of what the seller charged for them but I know everyone and their brother was buying them at the time so I’d like to find them a new home and if there’s interest someone can PM me or I’ll create a classified thread.

*** update: SOLD

Chris Walrod was the mastermind behind these…and the front lower control arm bushings , and…

Never…NEVER letting go of my set!

actually there was a rennlister holger that made the trim rings before Chris by a few years. After Holger stopped making them, Chris made a run at them.

The control arm bushings are a walrod original.. and terrific quality as well

Holger 2?

I think you may find that Brice in Hong Kong has resurrected the original Holger rings that many of us had before Chris made his even thinner versions.
He’s at briceleung@gmail.com

If these are still available, I could use a set... Can't PM you.

No, these cover the existing bezels, making them larger and bulkier. The ones above insert inside of the existing bezels. ;)

Copy, gotcha!, It is difficult to see on a phone, looking at it on a full size computer, i can see that.

The thin inserts (Holger & Walrod style) are much nicer IMHO.

I remember getting a set of these for free from a member here. He posted them for sale and I inquired first. I think he said something like Merry Christmas and sent them to me for free! Unfortunately cannot remember his name!

I have a few sets someplace. I didn't want shiny so I sanded down the inside of the aluminum bezel to give it a brushed look. I also like that it doesn't obstruct the gauge as much.

I left the outer portion it's original black and have the brushed look on the inside. I could high polish them as well but more work.

Initial sanding I later went back and cleaned them up.
