Great info! So, are these for the "running lights" below the headlights?

Can these be used for the fog lights?

There was a post a month or so ago, about someone using a different bulb to improve the look of these running lights. It's amazing how "old" the original lights look, especially contrasting to litronic headlights - very old VW look!

Agreed! I have been wanting to fix the colour temperature of these to match the HIDs

Are these bluer in color to match the HID lights or are they brighter in intensity?

TIA

Tom

I ordered a set of these and they do not seem to work. Can anyone get them to work?
I know that diodes are directional, perhaps it has something to do with that.

hmmm.. I installed mine as well... they did not work either. maybe better to mod first, post second? I will try a resistor inline and see if that will help.. jeez.. and I thought this was going to be an easy one...

~sorry. (sheepishly)

I have looked at the wires and the clip, and it would appear that you can't do this. The wires are moulded in to the fitting and the clip will only go in one direction without modification.

Let us know if anyone has any luck with this.
