More survey results being published for headlines, without regard to methodology or validity.
I suspect that if you control for age (sample balance), then the numbers would not be different.
Example: Porsche vehicles are generally more expensive than BMW's (Pcars don't have a large volume 3-series like car to bring down the average cost).
And, generally, the older you are, the more money you make, the more expensive car you can afford to drive.
So, if you agree that younger folks have sex more often, then the younger age skew (of BMW owners) would explain the difference if frequency of sex (not the vehicle).
Correlation does not equal causation.

Anyway, I think I know the reason the BMW stats are higher: They weren't told that it had to be with SOMEONE ELSE.
