Post What do you all do with your front wheel bearings?

In other cars, I've always pulled and repacked the front wheel bearings every 30k miles. I looked into doing this on the 993, but they cannot be taken apart without destroying them (as per the manual). So, do you just run them until there is play in the wheel from failure, and then replace? Whenever I've replaced bearing grease at the 30k interval, it's always looked worn out. I can't imagine what the grease would look like after that long in a sports car. Any suggestions, or experiences?

Thanks,
David

I was concerned about the same thing. My mechanic assures me that these bearings rarely fail and that there is no PM for them.
