Thumbs up Product from Gert

I just received the aluminum shifter / e-brake in midnight blue leather from Gert. I just wanted to pass on to the board as to how happy I am with the quality and service from Gert. The leather matches my interior perfectly, and the overall quality is beyond excellent.

Thanks again Gert!! Outstanding service!!

Chaz, you need a midnight Blue Bird automotive armrest to go with your fancy new Gert shifter. I know someone who has one sitting on a shelf in the garage.

Interesting, thinking about the same mod to replace my wearing leather/plastic shifter. Thanks for the info!

Maybe some stainless door sills to go along with it!

Over the Xmas holidays I installed a MY02 CF shifter and ebrake handle purchased from Gert...I'm very happy with their fit and quality, and with service I received from Gert. Along with my new VW cupholder this mod must be good for at least 10hp!!.

Hey Tim, my motto is "spend it, you cant take it with you" I think the suspension upgrade (lowering will be next).

By the way, intersting chart you did on colours (colors).

I'm with you

Just about to "invest" in some more upgrades on my car I will let you know exactly what when I make the final decision - hopefully tomorrow.

Well, I just finished the shifter/ebrake replacement. Only took about 90 minutes. Probably spent 1/2 of that trying to get the shifter boot to sit properly in the console.

I will say it looks really good. I will post some pics. tomorrow evening.

This was one of the first upgrades I did to my C2. In went the sport seats and alum shifter/e-brake lever. Naturally in midnight blue leather. Have a look

Question for you folks - my 993 has marble grey seats and centre console/gearshift lever/boot/handbrake, but a midnight blue steering wheel and dash.

I've been thinking about fitting a new gearshift and I've seen several cars with constrasting boots/centre consoles. It looks good as it is, but my only criticism is that the gearshift boot can look scruffy after a while in light leather.

Should I get blue or grey?

(and by the way, what is a "VW cup holder" ???)

After thinking about it, I reckon I'm going to have to stick with marble grey Chaz - but thanks for offering.

Presumably you just got the Aluminium version from Gert, and it's the bog standard ones that you took out of the car that you want to sell?

Ideally I'd like a marble grey/aluminium gearshift and handbrake like the one's Gert sells - shame about the outrageous prices though!
