has anyone tried this conv by cmw i would appreciate your response on reliabilty power & value

Maz,
Don't do it. The cylinder walls are too thin and you will get blowby at cylinder & cylinder heads. The engine is NOT reliable.

Maz:

I agree with Pete wholeheartedly. These cylinders are much too thin to stay round from cold to hot and leakdown figures from engines with these things bear this out.

Use the Mahle RS 102mm, slip-in ones in street engines and the Mahle RSR 102mm, thick walled; bore-in ones for any race applications where maximum displacement is required.

Stop, Look and Listen to Steve Weiner. If hes says don't do it, he provides this opinion based on first hand experience. There is a factory 3.8 kit available from Andial and others. Maybe you should check this out.
