In other news...you want to talk about craziville...and I am going to keep the dealer's name out of this, cause his response was nothing short of obscene.
I inquired about a 2005 turbo S, manual - gorgeous car, low miles...while waiting for a response I googled the vin. Sold last march for $66k.
Asking price: $250,000
I wasn't certain we were talking about the same car, stating that it sold (didn't know he bought it) for $66k last spring. Dude lost his mind...and a potential customer.

Of course, there are just as many who prefer a smooth rear, so it cuts both ways.
When I was looking, I was initially favoring an aerokit car, but didn’t find one. That said, I have ended up preferring the RS spoiler, so it all worked out.

Some of the mods were OK, but most of it should have been restored to factory.
I watched the video. The guy raises the engine compartment cover and it stays up. I'm like what? Magic. How in the world does that car have working engine deckled shocks in the condition that it was in?

On that car that sold for $80K, some of the comments indicated that not all of the painted panels matched well.
That's a big issue and hard to correct cheaply.
Like buying a car in a color that you don't like (because of a god price), if that type of paint flaw bugs you, it always will when you own the car.

I will be watching closely since it’s my twin but with 30k more miles🤞. Excellent example of how to present a car online with photos of everything.

$125k in the first day (with 53k miles)? Wow!
I think the detailed presentation has a lot to do with it. Showing every component is there, comprehensive pics of the undercarriage, and pics of the paperwork and all original pieces. The open hood shot (#180) is a nice one and shows you're getting everything that came with the car originally. It also has a sweet cupholder!!

"I wanted to provide my thoughts from the owners perspective. I’ve enjoyed this car immensely through my ownership and can confirm this is an extremely clean example of what I believe is the best 911 ever built. It strikes the perfect balance of analog, visceral air-cooled fun with the modern comforts and technology that makes it truly daily’able. There is also a distinct difference in the 2S over the 4S that (in my opinion) makes the driving experience more pure and balanced."
