1.) sub 50k mile C4S = $140k-150k+ car (if the history checks out...no car fax dings, original paint, and has documented service history).
2.) with sport seats (add $10k to a standard car)
3.) unique color premium = +20% (?) maybe +10%? I've never seen Pastel Yellow and according to this thread it is "rare" How rare are the pastel yellow 993...
$180k-$185k is probably close?
To me, a car like this is snatched up and put away in a collection somewhere only to reappear at an auction a decade later and we all slap our foreheads at missing the opportunity...

Hi CS,
What an amazing coincidence, I am the current owner of 029, and as you narrated the car spent much of its life in the Brumos Museum, so still very low milage. I also have the Porsche documents showing the car left the factory Dec 16, 1998, as you specified, headed to you.
I have been trying to collate the car's full history, and you are the big missing link, do you mind if I send you a PM so we can compare notes on the car?
Thank you in advance.

It's being sold at a Porsche dealer. So they probably have a good sense for the market and they are posting the high end of the reasonable range.
The likely scenario is it will sit for a while. Then they'll lower it to $190K (or something like that) and sell it when someone brings a real offer like $180K or $185K.
I'd be surprised if that car trades for under $175K unless the market changes or it doesn't check out on a PPI.
PY is a very cool color. That's just badass.

Hard to argue with the factory plaque that accompanied the car but we can get technical and include Project Gold as the true last air cooled that left the factory. That RS 029 coincidence is awesome! love this forum and how it brings cars and people together.

Not really since it can “Never” be registered to be on the road as a legally driving car.

As Gbos1 reminds, Project Gold, a one-off twin turbo, can never be registered for the road. The proceeds of its sale at auction, a staggering 4.3 million, went to the Ferry Porsche Foundation. a "charity".

Yes it does. I'm currently preparing all documents and especially photographs. Still need to do a few videos and undercarriage pictures as well.
My 993 4s is very similar to the 993 s.
My car was imported by the same company in Japan and all records look the same, also the service book - all Japanese.
I might put another car on BaT first and hold on to the 993 4s a little more - not sure yet.
