Lots, tons of scratches in the paint too, on a black car, so it isn't concourse by any stretch. someday I may have it re-sprayed, but philosophically, the fact that it is already scratched up give me piece of mind when I take it for drives, I just drive it and enjoy it. It is a freedom not worrying about chips...
OTOH the mechanicals are terrific, which if weren't would bother me more that some chips
So my car has 123000 and has had the front bumper hood etc painted before i bought it. I had a work associate talk me into ceramic coating it when I bought it over four years ago. This makes my fifth 911. I have barely had a new chip in the four years I have owned it. This would not be typical of my experience with the previous cars. Could it be because of the ceramic coat? I really didn't buy into ceramic coating to begin with but I may be more of a believer that it does protect the paint.
+1
Front bumper cover has been resprayed three times in my 18 years of ownership. Twice was to repair minor damage and once was to eliminate a plethora of chips, at which time I also had the hood refinished. 118k and going strong.
