Default OEM Steering wheel extension

One of the major gripes I've had with the 993 is the seating position/steering wheel position. I've always felt that the steering wheel was 2" too far away, never really made for a very great driving position. It would've been easy enough to swap to an aftermarket steering wheel, but I didn't want to delete the airbag on what is just a street car for me. I thought I was out of luck until I stumbled upon this outfit from italy called spacershop. No affiliation, just sure there are others out there that would benefit from this.

Its a nice quality part, fits perfectly and installs in under 30 minutes. Really made the car a lot more comfortable to drive for me. Here's a couple pictures, excuse the poor lighting.

Nice find..If only it was painted in a Matte finish to match the plastics that would make it look more oem..

That would be ideal, but in person it doesn't bother me at all. You could also pretty easily get it wrapped in leather or vinyl if wanted.

funny, at 5'4" I've always felt the steering wheel to be a couple inches too close. I genuinely worry about what the airbag might do to me, not to mention the seatbelt that is on my neck versus my shoulder
