Why don’t you find a c4 in the color you like and swap in your old interior? They aren’t hard to find , look on bat.

If you have the time and patience I think its a really great idea. You will bond with the car and it will be truly yours. You are not looking for 100% originality, so thats not an issue.
If I were in your shoes I would do it.

Looks nice once you have removed the rear tail and put the correct standard size/offset wheels back on. Better with sports seats of course. I wonder if both are available with the car. Sometimes addenda such as the rear wing and splitters can indicate previous damage. So check carefully for that.

Not my car but, according to the ad, that is all OEM. Aero-kit II option, actually sorta rare.
