Memo to HWFMR Team mates: The Team needs pics of your track cars
Hi all
As team owner, I've been thinking, planning, conniving and scheming, all of which team owners, and senior management are good at.
And our own Princeton Wong has been working, computing and creating, all of which truly talented people are good at.
Anyhow the team website is getting closer to reality.
Princeton's doing the design work with all the wit creativity and sophistication that he brought to drawing our beloved and endearing team turtle logo (Which, by the way, continues to be a grid girl magnet in paddocks all across the country).
Now I can't tell you a lot about what the content of the site will be -- you'll have to use your well-developed HWFMR patience. Suffice it to say that it will be very HWFM.
We do, however, need pictures of your track car now.
We know you got them. You may not be fast in those cars, but you are proud of them.
The best angle is a three quarter shot from the driver's side rear, preferably low enough that we don't see much of the roof.
But if you have any good shot of your car, parked or in action, we want it.
Just post them in this thread. Permission to use the said picture on the HWFMR site is implicit in your posting it. (Dan made me say that)
And finally, thank you Princeton. You are truly amazing.
We may add by executive order the title "Team Hero" to your title of Team Creative Director.
Thanks
The Big Turtle

As I said, we can't delve too deeply into content yet, but you are on the right track, so to speak.
Spinners don't work well for this request, but save the ones you have.

parked or in action
Sooner or later I'll have to get my application for membership submitted . . . I'm just a little slow when it comes to such things.
Looking forward to seeing the website!

In the true spirit of HWFMR, I purchased the slowest Porsche that I could find (that runs...although when I told Phil how much I paid for it...$2k...his first question was "does it run"). Surprisingly, my times in my one and only session before the clutch let go was only about a second off my 993 time. Having a $2k car also qualifies me for CBR team (Cheap Bastard Racing).
Hopefully I loaded the picture correctly, as I might be as slow as my car
By the way, it is the red vasserpumper.

Of the hundreds of photos I have, I can't find a single one that meets our fearless leader's "three quarter driver-side low no roof" requirement!
Here's one of my favorites, which shows lots of roof:
I'm looking forward to the site!

Mike (fearless leader), your wish is my command.
Is this the rear qtr view you were looking for?
Obviously, one of my finer moments. Note the purposefully designed air channel along the right rear fender that accelerates the air flow over the car, increasing top speed.
Here's one from happier days (coming over the crest of Madness at Mid Ohio).
The only rear 3/4 I've got - from a Putnam track day (unfortunately not an action shot):

Hey fellow HWFMR guys,
Keep the pics coming. The angle of Phil's and Jeff's pic are pretty good.
Even if you don't have one at such an angle please post them as we will still love to use them for the teammate gallery.
Or this could just be another excuse to go put 5 more coats of wax on and snap some more pics .
Mike- Woohoo I've been promoted LOL. Not just position wise but in an honorary sense too. I'm at a loss for words..........
