Yes...calling a North East VB! Anyone? Anyone??
He was at one-time an East Coaster, but left for the sun.

I believe there are some reputable shops in LI. Ironically, maybe not that ironic, but they all seem to be located in Huntington, LI. Autosport, Lynmor, RPM(?), S.M., to name a few. But....they are $$$.

I use Autosport. Not cheap by any means, but it's an excellent shop capable of anything from routine maintenance to full restorations. I've had good service from Lynmor also.

What do they charge for typical jobs? I mean... come on, its actually an easy car to work on if you pull the motor. And I hear pulling the motor with a lift is a joke. less than 2 hours.

Autosport charges approx. $200 for an oil change with both filters. I spent about $150 with them to diagnose and recharge my AC. They're not cheap, but they're very good at what they do.

I think I may give them a try for the season-ending oil change.

I think you'll like their service. Ask about the oil change price first though -- the $200 figure is what I remember, but I could be wrong.
