I did a quick search for it on google. I found this website: http://jenniskens.livedsl.nl/diag/diag.htm
Is there another thread/web page, with more info?

I am in France, but i also have an address in Socal. I would be interested in a group buy if the price is right.

There's one thing it does that the durametric doesn't: activate the ABS for correct brake flush/bleed
otherwise they are similar

For what it's worth, I've been a happy UDT999 user for many years. Aside from needing to use Windows, it's a pretty solid product. It's not bug free, but close enough and certainly better than some of the alternatives.

If you're on the fence, I hope this post pushes you over. Back to the slippery slope...

Yes. Mine came with an adapter to work with the old style round connector. It was originally designed for the 928, which predated OBD2 by a long shot.

Default Price Quote!!

I received this offer from Jenniskens. The UDT-999 comes in 2 options:
  1. USB connector cable w/ rectangular ODB2, 16pin connector – 259E
  2. As above but with adapter for round ODB1 and pre-, 19pin connector – 279E
For the majority of us, the 16pin connector is the one and at current exchange rates this is about $290 excluding shipping etc. Final price including all fees etc TBD.

I’m going to tally up the ayes and send you all a confirmation PM. Haven’t worked out all the details yet but payment will most likely be via Paypal. Looking to lock this deal down by the end of this week before Paul goes on vacation. Delivery as I mentioned, could be late August, early Sept as there is some assembly involved.
