Is it possible to replace the ball joints in 993 Rear Suspension components. Specifically the lower wishbone, A arms

what I was afraid of. And assume no reputable aftermarket option?
I have been told the ball joints last forever and perhaps an option is a low mileage used option from LA Dismantler.

I was just discussing this with rstrada yesterday. (I am deciding whether to completely redo my suspension because I am bored and want a bit less roll in corners). Basically they are not rebuildable so you buy new ones from Porsche or go aftermarket.
The ERP was the only aftermarket option I was able to locate.

If anyone has some other ideas, I am all ears.

I installed the Tarrett lower arms several years ago and they've worked well.

The OP asked about the A-arm
Here is the 993 rear suspension, the A-arm is #1&5, The ball joint is at the Apex of the A, There used to be an outfit is GB that would replace it, I don't know if they are still around. arm#1 position A is a sealed monoball joint these also get loosey goosey, #5 position B is rubber on a stock 993 and sport rubber(stiffer) on RS and a monoball on RSR. I'd want the RS arms sport rubber. Arm #4 position D is also sport rubber on an RS, These 2 are the primary difference between RS and regular 993. For track use and sporting street you can use a mono ball or sport rubber bush on the toe arm #2 position E.

So looks like rebuilding the A arm is a non option. So the options are Factory part at $1200. Dansk replacement at $500 or low mileage used at $425.
I'm not hearing anything bad about the Dansk made option, so that seems like the way to go?
Any opinions there, fire away.

Hartech do refurbished suspension components on exchange basis as I understand it they are done in Slovakia but unable to deal direct.

Replacing the A arms and bushings will really tighten things up nicely. Rubber RS sport hardness is the way to go. I went with new stock A arms and Elephant bushings. Elephant makes great bushings, so if you don’t want to break the bank for factory A arms, have a look at the Elephant Arms. At $700 they’re steeper than Dansk, but it’s all about the bushings.
