Default Center wheel badge

I have just restored my center wheel badges on my 993s. Have attached some before and after pics

They look great - very happy with the result

Cheers
Alan

You have to get the caps off first. Then pry the badge of the cap.

I first had them cleaned. Managed to find a guy that uses a pressurized dry ice cleaning method to remove all the old stuff. Tried cleaning by hand but was taking to long. Then got some enamel paint from a model / hobby shop. Gold spray and red and black pots. Hand painted then used casting resin to coat them??

Very nice and requires a lot of patience and finesse. I’d be too lazy and would just buy new. Well done.

Honestly not too difficult, new ones were a little pricey
