Default Change My Pitch up Smack My Bischoff. Issues w. my X-Pipe

Passenger side. Notice how much lower the pipe is. This interferes with exhaust fitment.

As a reference the top of the picture is the driver’s side Supercup. Absolutely perfect fitment.

Passengers side. Right of pic is rear of car. Notice how the XPipe sits closer and lower than driver’s side

Driver’s side. Bumper is not fully installed

Dansk catlless xpipe
Dansk Catless X-Pipe + Fabspeed Supercups

Driver’s side went in perfectly without issue. But when I went to install the passenger side the angles all appear to be off like Cannonball Run Doctor Nikolas Van Helsing

Anyway I have asked my 993 Brethren locally to no avail.

Anyone have issues with their catless x-pipes & muffler fitment?

Thanks guys. And girls. Oh its 2019. And persons of no sexual identity.

Best,

Paul

I threw the towel in the other week. Time to give Nam a crack at it.

More importantly, why are the Supercups welded in such a way that it’s absolutely impossible to clock them correctly? The two holes for the optional ‘fangs’ should be level when viewed from the rear. Which would also orient the fancy Fabspeed embossing in a direction other than pointing into the dark recesses of the rear bumper.

Fabspeed: any thoughts here?

I’m at a loss as well. I say time to visit a muffler shop and custom bend 2 short pipes from heat exchangers to bumper cutouts.

Possibly the best thread title ever. I’ll never forget seeing the video for that song the first time - crazy.

Did the same last year (x-pipes with Supercups), after a little wickeling and tickeling it fitted ok, and ok, maybe also a little bending.

Sound was infernal... after driving a couple of days, incl. 2 trackdays, I decided it was to much for the local authorities to overlook ...

Went back to the old muffler (also modified, but not known by whom).

Sound is still something else but a little more peace in mind.

But everytime im in the Garage and see the Supercups idling around, i get this twitching to put them back
