Turbo S Hollow Twist Color Question
Just doing some refreshing on my 1998 C2S in Arctic silver and I have been debating whether to have turbo twists powder coated "Porsche silver" that my paint shop does regularly or try and find a match for the color that was put down on the Turbo S Twists.
I have been told that the Turbo S Twists were OEM delivered (special options ??) in a "hyper silver" but I can not find any reference to the color or exact difference to be able to coordinate with my paint shop.
My car is Arctic silver... first car pictured.
More details on the Turbo S with the "hyper silver" wheels located at following link

Up in the air if I should pursue this or not.
A pic of my car.
"Hyper silver" as found on Turbo S
Mr. 993's car as recently seen in FL. Twists powder coated in hyper color.

Several years ago I tried re-doing mine like the turbo S wheel. The paint shop couldn’t find a paint code and even contacted the factory without success.
Paints have changed so much over the last few years and I see what looks a lot like hyper silver on lots of different brands of cars. I would think a decent paint shop would be able to get very close. If they can I’d say do it. I think those wheels in that finish look brilliant.

I'm not familiar with the 993 TurboS wheels, but with my two cars parked together, you can see the subtle difference between my 993 C4S with Porsche silver, and my 996 TurboS with GT Metallic rims. The GT metallic was limited to the Turbo S. My guess is Porsche made a similar difference in the 993 TurboS with the "hyper" color. The TTS rims definitely look more metallic than the silver one and has a slightly darker hue. It's subtle, but obvious when they are parked together.

Actually I think this shot shows the metallic look better.
