Becker CR-210 Radio Bluetooth
Received my CR210 back from Becker Autosound in NJ the other day - modified for Bluetooth. Installed it today and it works as advertised. My IPhone paired quickly to the “BT Audio” selection and with the FM band tuned my music plays as expected. All controlled on the phone of course.
Nothing external was done to the radio and no more cables. Really a great mod for $200 ‘ish. Highly recommended.
Of course the OEM sound system quality still sucks!!

I have considered the Porsche Classic radio but have held off because of the cost and really I don't want to lose my CD capabilities of my Becker 210. My radio is really starting to have issues though with not starting or playing the CD until I pop it out and restart it again. So will they refurbish the unit besides install bluetooth? Anyhow thanks for the thread.

Becker worked some magic internal to the CR210 and it a mystery to me - the only indication is a new label on the body of the radio that says "Bluetooth". Just tune the radio to FM and pair the phone.
This is my third of forth interaction with Becker in NJ with the 993 and 997 and their service has been first rate each time. I'm sure they can repair your radio and make it look like new as well.

Thought I'd add another thumbs up for this mod. I finally got my car back and installed the radio. Works as advertised and was under $200 all in. Having BT but the OE radio is a big plus for me. I don't love the look of the Classic Radio nor the price.

Agreed! I bought the Classic about a month before learning of this mod - would have never purchased it if I knew it was available. Might be seeing a Classic in the parts section soon!

Glad it worked out. It is a good mod. Am driving my car now w music from the iPhone and no cord to the CR210 or jack in the faceplate. Best of all no ugly 6 CD changer in the trunk.

It’s a great mod and a value at $200. Becker is very good to deal with and fair. I traded in my old 6 CD changer to them as well for a couple of bucks off. It wasn’t original to my car anyway. Fortunately was able to find a good used trunk liner and stole the left side panel and had it sewed in place of the cut one. So car is back to as delivered look.
