Question about SAI delete on 95
I deleted my SAI system awhile back, using the Patrick Motorsports plugs. At the time I failed to notice that when you remove the SAI system, it leaves an open hole in the bottom corner of the back of the air box where there is a spigot that used to connect to the SAI pump inlet hose.
What's typically used to cleanly plug this hole? |
Yes. Which is to say... anything. RTV, epoxy, silicone, silly putty, whatever you got. You'll never see it, so don't overthink it. |

For those who haven't searched here are two DIY's on this
http://www.rennsportkc.com/1995-993-sai-system-removal/ https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...l-success.html TBH I have tried to follow both and literally am awaiting Andreas to stop on by to smack me upside the head and show me what I am doing wrong (partially deleted SAI here). Hope someone can use either one of these and make more sense.... Best, Paul |
