Is this a PCA event?

Sounds like a blast. I remember seeing the video of you guys driving the track a few years back. Looked like a blast. Very tempting, wish it wasn't a 15-hour drive for me. But, you never know, I have been contemplating a long road trip for a while. I will keep it on my radar.

Ilko suggested I do it this week because of Hershey the weekend before and the PCA Club race at Limerock Park the weekend after. Hopefully we will have great weather!

This is not a PCA event. Really just for Rennlist members who would like to meet up and have a little fun.

bit confused, will there be any track time or its just a car show type deal?

Hello Oliver,

I'll quote from the original post a few years back.

"Hello Everyone -

The owner of Palmer Motorsports Park is graciously allowing me to host a gathering for 993 and other air/oil cooled owners. We will have track access for touring laps, a photo shoot, lunch and some camaraderie from 9am to 4pm. Think of a cars & coffee event but at a racetrack.

We will have track access for touring laps and a photo shoot from 9am to 4pm. This is not a track day. This is not a DE day.

The idea is to bring 993 owners together for a photoshoot and some camaraderie."


What we usually do is 20 min. sessions of "spirted" non-helmeted laps. Then reverse direction and run the track in the other way. We usually stop at the top (1070') for photos and views. "Tibaltech" is an artist with a camera and he usually has us set up for some group photos.

If you come expecting a hard core track day this is not for you, but if you would like to experience the hilltop setting, beauty and exhilaration of 509' of overall elevation change at a good clip with other enthusiasts you will have a blast. any further questions shoot me a PM.

That's this April 23 2019. Was a little confused because you mentioned Columbus Day in the post. Must have been from a previous track day?
