Yes, keeping the F4. Sent it to Hawaii so I can use it out there as we go often.

My '73 Triumph 750 Tiger cafe build is about 20% complete. It's finally running again after fifteen years of storage, but I've got a long way to go.

mine is a little more modern but the heritage of the ionic air cooled 1200 boxer can be felt immediately and with siniliar urgency to our beloved 911’s. Much like my 993 this one has had some serious massaging 😎.

Brining back some real memories with that picture - fantastic bike!! I had an ‘87 Paso, ‘91 900ss, and a ‘92 750ss that was even better balanced than the 900. Would love to find a either a Black ‘91 900ss or Black 907ie ...

How long have you owned?

Since the day I rode it off the showroom floor in 95.

Highly modified. Race Tech cartridge emulators, Ohlins shock, Keihin flat slides, Gia.ca.moto CF exhaust, carbon fiber this and that, Nichols titanium engine bolts, Nichols clutch basket, Barnett lightweight clutch, 996SPS brake and clutch MCs, yoyodyne clutch slave cylinder, stainless steel brake lines, Dyna coils, Moto Electrica starter circuit, upgraded plugs and wires, and probably 50 other things I'm forgetting.

Oh yeah. And I painted it Dodge Viper black.

She's outlasted several women. Including an Italian one who refused to compete. "Me or the motorcycle!" Ok....

That's great you've held on to her that long! Also a very nice list of proper mods ... similar to some I did to mine although not nearly as extensive. Had Gia.ca.moto CF pipes also that I pulled all of the batting out ... made the exhaust note even more enjoyable but not obnoxious. I end up painting my '87 Paso Black as well, but it was a rather archaic (albeit typical '80s technology) with the 16s and single carb. I went with the Dellorto set-up which helped some, but just not enough. That bike was sadly stolen only to be recovered about 6 months later after high-speed chase which ended with it in a ditch.

My Italian wife has outlasted all of my outlandish, impulse purchases but mainly because she always supported them. However, should have there come a point as you described above, my simple reply would have been, "Thanks for making this much easier!"
