I literally told them this. But its looking like I have to go to the dealer after its been washed and have them send something over in writing that its defective and only then they will replace it (with who knows what that might leak again!)

Any luck getting info on the TSB that they are trying to use to decline your warranty claim?

not yet… But I haven’t done a lot of digging. I’m waiting to wash the car again so I can take it to the dealership and see what they say.

The last body TSB (dated: 12-2-2005) in PiWiS was "Sealing Work In Case Of Water Leaks" - 5002.

I replaced my center reflector Aug 2017 with a new one. Have had no issues with condensation/fluid inside the reflector. Bulbs are using the original original rubber seals. My driveway has a slight downward slope into my garage so when I wash my car it easily catches water in the rear bumper rear reflector cavities. Easily dried through a quick drive around the block... Sound like maybe a bad batch of reflectors?

My local dealer accepted back the reflector units 2x under warranty, and we realized we had an issue when the 3rd unit came in with the exact same sealing issues. I even spoke with Porsche NA, and they said they'd "make note of the defects". Because I didn't think this would translate into me getting a properly sealed reflector unit anytime soon, I took matters into my own hands and sealed it myself.

how exactly? Did you seal the entire reflector along the top with clear sealant? Or just the tabs?
