Nicely sorted ride. Great find!

As pointed out earlier, interested mixture of upgrades. Fortunately most of them are very good.

Does the piece that makes contact with the brake pad vary in size between the TT and RS rear? I don't have my jack stands handy and didn't want to climb under the car to get a good visual. I pulled out one pad and that piece measured 44mm making contact with the pad but not sure if its universal or not.

The owner that did all the upgrades consulted someone called viperbob? on this forum for most of the help. Not sure if they are active or not but thats who guided them on the build.

Crap...those all look like the same diameter...the interaction with the piston is what varies. I shot the original owner an email to verify...Not the easiest checking on the car with the rotor in the way.

Lovely car with nice upgrades. Good find!

If you decide to ditch the side skirts, I'd be very interested.

yes, the clips are different, they match the different holes in the piston backs, If you pull the pads you can usually see well enough, the tt will have 4 identical small pistons, The RS will have 1 set obviously larger than the other

Sure thing. Im starting the discussions with the shop here in Tampa. I like many want to turn the car to an RS CS look and although Im about to get lit up I plan on doing a full color change to the car. I've never liked silver and although it is a nice example I didn't buy it for value or anything. I bought it to drive the **** out of it so I have no intentions of selling the car. The paint is far from perfect and since im going to be changing things anyways like adding a cage that will be part of it. It will be a proper color change where the car is dismantled as well. My OCD would never allow anything but. Currently figuring out where to buy RS body bits.

Current plan...rectify suspension. New tires. Learn to drive. At the same time order panels and plan to have car painted this summer as its too damn hot to race in Florida so perfect time for the car to be down. Last will be a motor rebuild when the time seems right but learning to drive at this power seems the most prudent so that will come later.

as an aside....viperbob is over at Vortex Motorsports. Off Waters in Hillsborough. Between Dale Mabry and the Veterans. Couldn't hurt to give them a call. I need to drop by for an oil change.

Welcome to the forum, good to see another 993 joining the DE ranks. If you have the time, stop by Sebring for PCA Club Race end on Jan, I’ll be running in the Advanced DE run group, the only 993, cause I like bringing a knife to gun fight

Bill V & Viper Bob know their stuff an VB is still in Tampa area.
